Event Details

Circle Singing is an improvised choral technique popularized by the great vocal improviser Bobby McFerrin. In this workshop we will explore the fear, joy, and beauty of improvisation with our individual voices, and also work as an ensemble to create original, improvised musical works. Through a gently structured series of games, activities, and exercises, all participants will gain a deeper understanding of their own voice as instrument as well as how to add their voice to a musical ensemble. The act of singing in community is meditative, healing and extremely joyful. All musical levels and abilities welcome. Space Access Information available on our website. Class by donation.
